Kourosh Ashourzadeh, D.O.

Dr. Ashourzadeh started his residency at the Schneider Children’s Hospital in July 1990. While a Resident at SCH he received “The Resident Research and Scholarly performance award” on his research on Asthma. He graduated in July 1993 from SCH and joined Dr. James Dick at the present location on 37 Meridian Road in Levittown. After Dr. Dick’ retirement in July 1994, Dr. Ashourzadeh officially renamed the practice to “Caring Pediatrics”. He wanted to make sure that the name will repeat the way he attends to each patient’ needs.

In order to give back to the profession and the love of teaching, he agreed to become a clinical preceptor for the SCH by allowing residents from SCH to come into the office for this primary care experience. He has helped many bright and successful Doctors to reach this full potential under his wings.

In 2002 and every year since Dr. Ashourzadeh has been elected as the Top Pediatrician by the consumer research council based on his experience his teaching and hospital privileges. The practice has been growing exponentially mostly from referrals of both patients and other physicians.

Dr. Ashourzadeh has two girls and one boy. He is well aware of the needs and challenges of parenthood. His special interests are treating Asthma/allergic patients, recurrent and chronic fluid in the ears, snoring and enlarge tonsils, early childhood development, adolescent behaviors and attention deficit disorders/hyperactivity.

 

Dr. Lisa

Dr Lisa Linzer started her Internship at Schneiders Childrens Hospital and finished residency at Winthrop University Hospital in 1995. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of American Academy of Pediatrics.

Since finishing her residency Dr Linzer has worked in the Massapequa areas the pediatrcian in a group family practice in a part time capacity. Dr. Linzer has made it her mission to care for children and to help them grow up to become healthy young adults.

She has always made it a priority to build special relationships with parents of loved-ones. She believes that one of the keys to building a successful relationship with parents and their children is trust. Dr. Linzer has already earned the trust and confidence of parents and their children.

In addition, Dr. Linzer takes pride in educating parents on how to care for their children in the best possible way. She truly cares about children growing up to be strong and healthy, so that's why high quality care is a #1 priority.

Dr. Lisa Linzer is married and a mother of two boys ages 11 and 12
